Taft has had a really exciting week. He started out the week by being nominated by his teacher to be the "Student of the Week" from his class. Good job, Taft!! His teacher said, "He was selected for helping his classmates remember the rules by being an example." TODAY, Taft lost his very first tooth. Sorry about the gruesome picture. All through breakfast he complained his tooth hurt when he ate. I examined it and decided that tooth better come out, but I didn't have the stomach for it. Luckily, Hunter did. He pulled that baby right out. Maybe Hunter will be a dentist--he does enjoy going to the dentist you know. Amelia is perplexed by a missing tooth. She said Taft keeps "pulling out his tooth and now he can't crunch with it."Taft also layed the guilt thickly on Jeff today. Taft asked me the location of his dad. I responded that he was bow hunting. Taft then said, "Why? Doesn't dad like to be with his kids? Doesn't dad like to be with his rotten kids?" You know, comments like this bring Jeff to his knees with guilt.
